The building control system is the most sophisticated and costly part of the HVAC system. Many managers and operating engineers are using only a fraction of the valuable software, hardware options and resources of their equipment. As tenants come and go and new equipment is added or removed from the building, many control systems are not updated, integrated or set-up properly and the operating personnel are often left in the dark with a patchwork system. We can help!!
Mid-Atlantic Engineering Services, Inc. can optimize and integrate your building equipment and train you and your staff on the inter-relationship between your systems. We can show you how to manage and operate the equipment at its peak efficiency while providing cost savings and optimum tenant comfort.
We analyze and evaluate a variety of concepts, methods and new technologies that will be beneficial to your bottom line utilizing your current EMS or BAS system. We can suggest new solutions or modernization and reprogram existing systems. Retro Fit Systems
Carrier offers system controllers to fit virtually any application. The Carrier line of VAV i-Vu Open controllers such as VAVB1 and B3 or the Comfort ID controllers 33ZCFANTRM and the 33ZCVAVTRM, can be retrofitted onto older VAV boxes. These controllers allow you to protect your initial equipment investment while retrofitting the controls to the latest state of the art design. This allows you to take advantage of integration opportunities and economical advantages. For Example: Carriers VAV Controller Retrofit. Many older buildings have new Roof Top Units installed but still have older style electro-mechanical VAV controls. Carrier i-Vu Open or Comfort ID controllers allow these older VAV's to be retrofitted with new DDC controls. This allows these VAV's to be integrated with the new RTU's. Strategies like Supply Air Reset & Optimal Start/Stop can be optimized and energy savings realized. The VAVB1 and the VAVB3 are the new i-Vu Open BACnet controllers. The 33ZCFANTRM and 33ZCVAVTRM are the legacy Comfort ID controllers. For more information about these controllers click HERE For more information contact us at: Info@CCNControls.com |
